80 gig file transfer

hey everyone... i have a removable USB Simple Tech hard drive that has all my special files and folders in it, i'd like to keep these safe and back em' up on another hard drive (A netbook's hard drive.. yes the little tini ones, not a notebook)- the netbook im hoping to get has a 160 gig hard drive, and i want to back up my files in there, but the size that i want to transfer is 80 gigabytes. I know its half of the hard drive space but its for a good cause. My question is that- how long will it take to transfer 80 gigs of files & folders?...

depends on the usb harddrive:
USB 1.1 (full speed) - 12Mbps or 1.5MBps
USB 2.0 (high speed) - 480Mbps or 60MBps

80GB/1.5MB = 53333s 0r 888 min or 14hrs
80GB/60MB = 1333s 0r 22 min

these are theoretical transfer values, ymmv.

Why not just do it before you go to bed? I mean honestly it's not that big of a deal to be concerned about.
