800Mhz RAM - Significantly better than 667Mhz RAM?

Just up your FSB or increase the memory multiplier from 2.5. You'll more than likely have to give it voltage and/or loosen the timings to get it to run at 800 from 667.

Thanks a lot guys!

Now the final question that has been bugging me:

Is it worth getting 667mhz ram to 800mhz?

It can be, with a Core 2 there is still an advantage to using faster than 1:1 memory ratios. I don't remember the exact numbers but I think it was a noticable amount.

You can easily just overclock the RAM youself.

I got my Patriot DDR2-667 RAM with 5-5-5-15 timings, up to DDR2-900 with timings of 5-4-4-9.
