8600 Gt power requirement

8600 Gt

I am going to buy geforce8600 GT for sure very soon.So I just wanted to know wether it required extra pciE power supply or the power from pciE slot is enough for it?And another thing i want to know is wether it gonna play HD video in my present CRT moniter or not?
 
If you have around 250$ get the 8800gts 320mb which is better than the 8600 gt/gts, depending on your system but i guess at least 20amps and 500 watts, btw playing HD videos has nothing to do with a video card for games ...
 
he 8600gt/gts are only 128bit, while the 7900/80-- are higher with 256bit to 320bit. 8600 are not worth buying

I want DX10 budget card.Thats why it is decent for me.But you havent answered my question yet.

I would have loved to.But i have budget problem and it(8600 GT) falls in my budget.
 
Just to add on to his question . Does a 430W PSU can support this 8600GT ? i had a 7600GT and its working fine with the power supply
