yeah since 2 gigs of ddr2 800 only costs as little as 37 dollars on newegg right now, you could easily put 8gb's in. but it doesnt really matter, as i've never seen an application run more then 4 gigs, but if there is an application that'll take 8, i dont see that the rest of the computer could possibly keep up

you mean will it run or is it playable. anything lower than 30fps aren't reallly playable.
Theoretically. But in reality, I can Crysis in DX10 mode with most settings maxed at 1280x1024 no AA or AF and maintain a very playable 15 frames per second. Really though, the game is perfectly playable at this speed.

Exactly my point...what is the point?...and 3x8800GTX too?..and two 28" monitors? No offense, that set-up seems a bit overkill to me. I might consider having dual monitors for my work, but only a couple of cheapo 17"s, 28" is IMO home cinema size (I know they go much bigger, up to 70", but 28" is still really big). IMO you don't really need anything bigger than 20" for a PC monitor....but then, if you watch TV through it, and do video editing kinda stuff, then it might be worth it.
