8600gt bandwidth 57.6gb/s

i jsut redownloaded gpuz afgter installing my new mobo an dhav eit overclocked with rivatuner and am running it at
gpu clock 744
memory 900
shader 1636

just random overclock havent actually tried anything difficult with it yet

but on my old motherboard it got after extreme overclocking to about 31.6 gb/s
any reason someone would know of

this mobo also only can handle 8x speeds from the pci express slots whether in sli or not

also what advantages would i see with my bandwidth being that high? run with higher resolutions better?


my exact card evga 8600gt 512mb ddr3

A higher bandwidth just means it can transfer the data faster. So, you've got the same speeds as you did with your old motherboard and they were both PCI-e X8 slots?
