8600gts Call of duty 2 problem

not if this thread should of gone in games or graphic card area?
but anyway
when i load up cod2 it works fine but when i join a a game the screen goes white and all i see is a white screen with a cross hair and health??
any ideas?

ps worked fine before i upgraded my graphics card to 8600gts to 7300le
 
NO ideas and you mean from 7300LE to the 8600GTS btw instal drivers. If you havn't. If you don't have installation cd go to nVidia website
 
A white screen is usually signs of the game being too much for your video card. That's definitely not the case here.. try installing the drivers as Itanda recommended.
 
The drivers for series 8 cards have been nasty driving owners insane don't use the drivers that came with the card the Nvidia website is where you need to keep checking for drivers and hope the latest work.
 
ok what i have done is just removed all drivers, driver cleaned it, and am downloadin the patch atm! installed the new nvidea driver from the website and installed it!
