I dont think their prices are going down any time soon, at least not until the 8900 series comes out.

The geforce 9 series is supposed to be coming out at the end of this year i believe. If they stick to schedule then the 8900's are canned.

They already doing alot of promo for the 8800gts. like special MIR and IR, which drop the price by 60-70 vary from brand.
