8800 GT or 8800 GTS

I guess I'm having a hard time deciding whether to go with the 8800 GT (512 MB GDDR3) or the 8800 GTS (640 MB GDDR3) - I looked up both specs on the nVidia website and it looks like for the most part, the 8800 GT surpasses the GTS:

8800 GTS 8800 GT
Stream Processors 96 112
Core Clock (MHz) 500 600
Shader Clock (MHz) 1200 1500
Memory Clock (MHz) 800 900
Memory Amount 640MB or 320MB 512MB
Memory Interface 320-bit 256-bit
Memory Bandwidth (GB/sec) 64 57.6
Texture Fill Rate (billion/sec) 24 33.6

I've read all the opinions on the 8800 GT and it looks like people are enjoying it more than the GTS series, even the GTX series - but for the price of the GT, it makes sense.

I would just like some more further opinions between the two - any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Same as above, but a new G92 version of the GTS is coming out in early December, you may want to look into that if you can afford a 640mb GTS.

Are they going to be the same price as current GTS's? does anyone know?

But at the moment yeah, the GT is the way to go.

Be my luck the new GTS will be like when the G0 Q6600 come out and you either got a B3 or the new G0, so lets hope the G92 is guaranteed. Wouldn't surprise me a bit.

It'll probably be close that the current price, considering the 65nm process is more efficient. Who knows though, there will probably a huge price gouge like with the GT's.
