8800 GT performance.

You probably live in Belgium... Yeah it sux lol. Same problem here btw. Anyway, back to the point. Try to install the newest drivers, but uninstall the previous one.
 
Get even amount of RAM, at least 2GB (2x1GB) and if your mobo supports faster RAM speed then get it. Besides that, your main bottleneck IS the CPU.
 
I just got a job as tech support so I will be buying a sli system with either 8800GT or the new 8800GTS cards with a Q6600. :D The 8800GT cards are very rare in Australia, they are out of stock everywhere. Same goes for the Viewsoinc VX2835WM, they have been selling like hot cakes.
 
The prices there aren't that crash hot. Have you heard of MSY? The prices there are insane, I just got my Thermaltak Toughpower 850W power supply there for just $AU256 while at alot of other stores they say that price is below cost. 0_0
I think the other stores are lying, they are making HUGE profits.
 
yeah MSY are really good.

my card was $375 while the Zotac at MSY is 345.

so yeah. its alot better.

That video card is too powerful for the CPU. It probably adds some additional performance to the system of course, but the CPU is struggling to keep up. Time to upgrade.
