8800 GT v. 8800 GTS

I've been looking at various videocard and have been hearing a lot about the 8800 GT out performing the 8800 GTS. Why is this? I cant get past the extra "S" not meaning added performance.

Im looking at one for the next generation games coming out and have narrowed it down to two.

I think it was the GT's architecture... Based offa the G92 or something. The G92 8800GTS will come out...

I was looking at a similar mother board. But already purchased the ABIT one. Im not looking to do any overclocking or anything to heavy right now. So i figured the abit was alright, plus i already bought it.

Don't get the 8800gts 320mb. In a couple of days (dec 11 i beleive) the new 8800gts 512 mb card will be out. It will out preform the 8800gt in higher resolutions, but it will also cost about $50 more.

So i would recommend getting the 8800gt 512mb or 8800gts 512mb. The 320mb 8800gts is just not up to par on next gen games.
