8800 - GTS or GT?

Out of those two, the 8800GT is better but, Nvidia did come out with the 8800GTS 512MB which has a G92 core and is essentially better.

So go in this order:

8800GTS 512MB > 8800GT > 8800GTS 640MB > 8800GTS 320MB

Out of those two listed there the GT would blow away the GTS. The way it has gone down in that first there were the 320MB and 640MB GTS cards. Then Nvidia released the 512 MB GT which is much better than the 320 and 640 GTS cards. The GT is only just worse than the GTX for like $200 less - thus the GT is/was King card (unless you want to fork out for a GTX).

Then Nvidia released the 512MB GTS which is just better than the GT, but cost a fair bit more - Though some people say its also a fair bit better.

AND NOW, Nvidia are just releasing the 1GB GT which is most likely going to be better again.

So after all that, at the moment I'd recommend getting the GT as at the moment its the best bang for buck, and the one you linked too is in alot of peoples minds the best brand (EVGA) - and i agreee...heck, i Have one :D

The 8800GT 512MB is better then the 8800GTS 320MB/640MB, however the 8800GTS 512MB is better then the 8800GT 512MB.
