8800 GTS vs 2900 Pro

My friend is trying to decide on what card to buy: either the 8800 GTS 320mb or the 2900 Pro 512mb. Based on the fact that both cards are the same price, what card would be a better buy?

The 8800GTS would be the better choice. Last time I checked ATi drivers are still experience alot of bugs.

i prefer the 2900 nowadays, the driver problems are being solved very quickly

They are both really huge cards. The 8800GTS is marginally better in the benchmark, and from experience Nvidia cards overclock way better than ATi cards. So you get more bang for your buck if you get a Nvidia card because you can push them further.

It's been awhile since I made a serious post on the forums..........

Edit: Just noticed....... I was asking about the 320mb edition, not the 640mb........
