8800GS temps

Right now i have my 8800gs overclocked to 648/1674/1696

My temps as idle are 54-56 and while gaming 64-66

I was just wondering, is normal for it to be that hot even with oc?

my 8800 (not overclocked) does 53-62 idle (with stock cooling in a caase thats not that great) and 57-65 under load, under really really really (crysis on max) heave load its up to ~72 which is a bit too high but it comes down after a few seconds as when it gets above 60 it goes up from 30% fanspeed to up to about 50% depending on how warm it is.

yeah gfx cards usualy run hotter than cpu.

my idle temp is 41c and never goes over 60c when gaming,well i havnt seen it go over that yet

btw a little off topic,But i think your processor might be a bottleneck to that gpu.
