8800GT and power supply

Hello, can i ask about this subject.
I plan to buy 8800gt, will a psu 500w (silver stone strider) could handle it perfectly? I dont want "just barely made it" wattage because my system will be unstable.
You can see my other part in my sig.
Maybe someone can calculate my pc overall wattage if i install the 8800gt.

i have an antec earthwatts 500 watt and it runs my 8800GT great

just out of interest, have you considered getting a modular PSU?

they are so much nicer.

the Corsair 520HX is a much more trusted PSU and its modular.

Well im not that familiar with modular psu, whats the diffrent than the normal psu?
Beside its too pricey than the normal psu right.

400w power supply I recommend,88gt runs 180w fully loaded..

Yeah i know about that, but what about my other parts.
If 400w is the minimum, than 500w is safe and it doesn't hurt so much i think

I think 500W is OK as you may want another 2 stick of RAM with a extra HDD along the line
