8800GT faster than both 8800GTS?

Well I have heard that 8800GT gonna be faster than both 8800GTS.Is it true?And also heard that it will gonna cost betwn $200-250.

I dont think so, its supposed to be in between the 8600 and the 8800 gts i believe

No it wont, the 8800GTS is a higher end card then the 8800GT.

Which benchmarks? Because the GT model is lower then the GTS model, so theres no logical reason why nVidia would make the 8800GT better then the 8800GTS, for less money!

I would not go by one benchmark, it doesnt seem logical to have the GT faster than the GTS. Unless Nvidia is dropping the GTS when the GT comes out?

Ah, yes the 8800GT is the G92, whereas the 8800GTS is the G80. I dont see why nVidia named it the 8800GT though, because in the past the GTS has always been better then the GT.

The GTS is actually worse. Why nVidia changed the naming scheme, who knows.

guys dont argue. ive looked into this and the 8800 gt is getting over 10k 3d6 stock speeds. the 2950 pro, or which it is now called the 3800 pro is going to beat it by 600-800 d3d marks.

im betting the 8800gt will overclock better though.. we'll wait and see.
