8800gt is faster than 8800 ultra? foreal?

It's not. The Gt is slower than the GTX, making it slower than the Ultra.

Two things, synthetic-like benchmark program. Also the Gt may be overclocked or otherwise non-standard. Benchmark sites sometimes give cards unfair advantages like this with much warning.

The GT isn't that far behind, after all the 8800GT uses the G92 core whereas the 8800 Ultra uses the older G80 core.
