I have got my pc and its running quite well have been playing games like call of duty 4 online and offline fine at highest settings My specs are:-
Quad core 2.40
8gb ram
8800GT 512mb Card
24 inch monitor
Vista Home 64bit
Resolution 1920x1200

Problem is when i run crysis it dosnt seem to run perfectly smooth on high settings and was wondering what the best settings are to put in the "xpertvision" program.

I have tried Core clock setting:621 Mem clock setting:936 and shader clock setting:1566 and it seems to run better...but is this safe? Will it fry the card eventually?
Thanks in advance

ahh sounds good im going to try go up in intervals...as even with them settings its not running smooth..good news is the temperature seems to stay round 60 even when playing for half n hour so i should be able to go abit higher yet?:D

does this mean in future games which have the same level of graphics will need my graphics card replacing...or is it just the way crysis is..:(back to call of duty 4 for me for a while then lol

i got it working:D:D:D without even overclocking the card...just got the latest drivers from the website..updated the crysis game with the newest patch and used a "custom settings" patch..and it runs perfect..on a lower resolution though so i have to have the game using only a quarter of my screen but its still amazing:D

Resolution and the AA are the killers in this game. One setting up on the rez can completely change the performance of the PC.

Just use ntune, i have that card (similar) and i get mine to 750/2040 no worries. 90% fan playing crysis, less than 60oC.
