How is the power supply and I have also purchased this CPU Fan

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler 775 NEW

Hows everything look?

Maybe you should lookat this PSU, these are pretty good. Maybe out of your budget, but I like Xion, I hear that Rosewill PSU's have a mind of their own.

You may wanna look in the future for a Zalman CPU Cooler 9500 or 9700, the Arctic Cooling is a good one though

That one I just left will definitely be, I know of people using them for their 8800's. They said it gets the job done and leaves room for more, what else should it do.

Yea of course it will be sufficent, its way more expensive than the one he orginally chose. I think a high end PSU that goes for around 80-90 would be worth the extra stretch.

Don't cheap out on the PSU, thats all im going to say.

Well money is kind of tight on this part as this is why im on the fence. Should I mail the other PSU back?

If you already have it then......give it a try. If you see any stability issues, such as random restarts or shut downs, flickering lights, any strange behavior. Then send it back for a more powerful one.

ceewi1 puts it best in his sig:

Cheap PSUs - 2% of system costs, responsible for 28% of system deaths

I learned the hard a few years ago to not cheap out on a psu. A smal blip while my comp was on is all it took to take out the mobo, gpu, cpu fan, floppy drive and cd drive in one shot.

If you can get your money back, go ahead. Look at the reviews for that, 100% on Newegg, that is so overated. Rosewill is hit and miss, I would not go with them. You blew $215 on that, but now if you feel that Xion is not good enough try this Corsair 620W. That is both Crossfire and SLI certified, the vid card companies agree that it is good enough for both of them. It is a good one. This is a great one, too. Seasonic S12 550W. Here are some options, they are all great products

More power is not always the best answer. Power supplies are like shoe sizes, some companies make them a little big(Corsair), some make them a little small(Rosewill).(performance wise)

Why are you gonna go spend less money, on the same company, for less power? That company just caused you problems go with something else, read my reply before this.

As bldgengineer said Seasonic is the probably the best, I believe that Corsair is right up there with them. I have never heard of a problem out of either one.

I heard someone say they had an Apevia PSU and it caught the inside of their case on fire, maybe BS'ing but if it did happen that would be hilarious, Apevia is a POS either way.

I'm a little concerned about excessive ripple on the +12V rails of that OCZ unit when heavily loaded, especially with the variety of high quality units available at that price. The aforementioned Corsair HX620W would be at the top of my list of considerations, along with the Silverstone OP650.
