8800GTS - Colours Look Rubbish

Right, I've recently successfully finished my first build but I've run into a problem with my graphics card or monitor I think. I have:

this LG Widescreen Monitor and
this Innovision 8800GTS 320MB gfx card

I installed the drivers from the CDs that came with the monitor and card, but when I loaded up Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (to test the graphics) the colours looked really bad. I didn't have the same 'drag' effect I used to have on my old machine, and the graphics themselves generally looked better - but all the colours looked, frankly, basic and wrong.

I've checked my desktop settings and I'm running at 32 bit colours.

Any ideas what's causing this?

Drivers could be problem, that and GTASA isnt the greatest game to test drive the 8800GTS with lol. Just got mine, and so far the sexiest lookin game on it is Lost Planet. Download the demo and its amazing. There is a DX9 version and soon to be DX10 version.

Get those monitor drivers off your computer, I don't see why you would need those. That could be conflicting with your vid card.

OK, thanks for all your replies, but it's still not working. I've uninstalled the CD drivers and replaced it with the International version from the Nvidia site. I've also removed the drivers for the monitor incase there was a conflict at all. But I'm still having the same problems. I must be doing something wrong, because this is meant to be a good graphics card!! I've taken a screenshot from inside the GTA game, and even those of you not familiar with the game should be able to see the colour problem, although the screenshot came out a bit weird, so maybe not:

Also, I took a screenshot from where I was trying to highlight a word in a PDF file. As you can see, the colour of the highlighted text is a bit weird and, I'm sure, not how it's supposed to look:

SO, what should I try now, any ideas, because I'm completely stuck now!
