8800GTS based on G92 core is now available on newegg

It cost $359, and it comes with Crysis game

It doesn't beat the GT by much though.. I wish I had the money to get a 256Mb 8800gt.. Poor me!!! :( [/sigh] This is pretty cool though. I bet it'll be much easier to find than the GT.
 
No, 8800GTS (112) was based on G80 but it had 112 stream processors instead of 96

The new 8800GTS 512MB is based on G92 and it have 128 stream processors

Me? An X2 3800 @ 2.7-2.8 (depends on my mood :)), 2Gb PC3200, 7600gt (still). The 256Mb GT fits in my budget, and is perfect as my monitors native res is 1280 x1024.

Cool, we have the same specs! Except my 3800+ is not OC :o

On topic: I don't care right now about the new 8800GTS since the 8800GT I ordered is still an amazing card for the price looking at reviews...
 
How does it compare to some of the OCed 8800GTs on the market such as the Zotac AMP or MSI-OC?? @ 660 or 700Mhz

In those benchmarks it would have just been a 600Mhz GT right??
