The MSI Motherboard i'll be getting comes with a 9-Pin Serial Port "Header". Does anyone know of anywhere that I can purchase an adapter so that I can have an actual 9-Pin serial port to connect things to, as I will need it. I can't find one on newegg nor google. Thanks

Nowadays they ship the bracket with the cable attached with the motherboard. That way if you need it, its there. If you don't, don't connect it. You have to attach the bracket to one of the expansion ports where you would attach separate sound, video and nic cards on the back of the case.

yes, its there, to the right of I/O plate that gets attached to back of the case to accept the motherboard ports. The other bracket with the cable attached is for additional usb ports.

OOPS. Sorry, that is a firewire port. look on the specs tab for what comes with it. Sorry about that.

In fact, I have one that i'm not using from an Asus board. If the pin outs are the same, I could send it to you.
