So here are the two cards that i am thinking of buying.

HIS Hightech H467QT512P Radeon HD 4670 IceQ Turbo 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16

or

XFX PVT95GYDQ3 GeForce 9500 GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16

I am a moderrate gamer, i have an 8400GS right now, i overclocked it and got about 5 extra frames in some games, so I am happy with the performance, but i would like to get a little bit more, seeing that i have enough power for a bigger one.

Right now i play Crysis at 800/600 and everything on low. and i get 12FPS, before i over clocked it got 9 which was virtually not even worth playing. So I am hoping o at least get to play on something like 1024x768? and have it on medium and get 20+ frames? And in COD4 i expect 1650/1050 on high and get 25+ frames, because with my 8400gs i can get it at 1024x768, and have it on low and get about 35 frames per sec.

I hear all these people saying they have to upgrade, and they have an 8800GTX or 9800GT, or even a 9600GT,w/e i just kinda laugh, becuase i am playing my games with an 8400GS, lol man it feels so normal to play at around 20FPS:D

I have a 420watt psu and i have no 6 pin connector in it so i am resorting to less powerful cards.
I have 2 4 pins unused are there converters?

20 fps and you laugh at people...

9600GT that I'm using can play CoD4 on max @ 1680x1050 and still get around 30 fps maybe more maybe less.

ok so 9500GT would get bout 10 less frames or so?

and dude, i laugh at the fact that people upgrade to the latest thing, when an upgrade is totally not nessessary...:)

To get back on track, Get the HD 4670, it is small, has a great cooler, powerful, and an all around great card. It will play Crysis 1024x768, All high, 0AA, 0AF at 35FPS+, Call of duty 4/Waw, 1680x1050p High, No AA or AF 70FPS+. I don't know what will happen if you turn AA or AF on.

IT REQUIRES NO 6-PIN POWER CONNECTORS TO WORK! And it plays on a pre-built computers, 300w.

Heres a benchmark review on it:

BUT if I were you I would go for the HD 4830 @ $109.99

It is compareable to an HD 4850, AND BEATS THE 9800GT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUY IT IF YOU HAVE THE CASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
