would it be better than the HD 4770?

and would the 9600gt work with my 500w generic PSU(comes with the case)
which is: +12v -12v +5v +3.3v +5vSB / 20A 0.5A 36A 21A 1.5A
frequency: 50-60hz


would i be able to play games with it smoothly if my specs are:
Athlon II X2 240 (2.8G) 2mb
Inno3D 9600GT 512ddr3 256bit /hdmi
2GB 800 ddr2
ECS elite g6100pm-m2l

games like 2k10, needforspeed underccover, shift, RE5, GTA IV on high settings
 
they are about the same. if you want to upgrade get an ati 5770 - better than the 9600gt by far. the 5770 is between the 4870 and 4850 in terms of performance.
