A 8000 series question...

Do you have to have Windows Vista to run DX10??? in other words can i have a 8600GTS running on windows xp???

DX10 is only available in vista so ya, a 8800 series will run on xp or vista but due to the lack of dx10 on xp, vista would be the one recommended if you're planning on buying a os future proof

Currently DX10 is only available on Windows Vista, but you can still use the 8 series cards (as well as the HD 2K series), on XP.
