Dell mare! You missed the thread someone started on Having fun with Dell support some time back.

The XPS series now see the system restored to factory state of the installed OS by simpl pressing the assigned key. Dell no longer provides a set of recovery disks like the trend is going for all prebuilds.

HP tends the better brand when considering a prebuilt system. Many are looking at Sony while HP sees about the best support of all prebuilds in general. Dell however is offering the choice of OS as a selling point.
