Hello
My brother is getting a gaming computer that I'm helping build for him,
So far we have bought everything that we need apart from a graphics card and a monitor.
The problem is that he will have to save up for a monitor and a graphics card for a good while, at least 3-4 months for the graphics card then he will probably get the monitor in July for his birthday
I have done really well to get him all the parts together so far and it's looking like it's going to be a good computer:good:
So far we have bought:
Motherboard:http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/...utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=VigLink+Inc
hard drive:http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/...utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=VigLink+Inc
DVD drive: http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/...utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=VigLink+Inc
Computer case:http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/...utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=VigLink+Inc
Processor: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-i5-4690K-Processor-Graphics-LGA-1150/dp/B00KPRWB9G
RAM: http://www.amazon.co.uk/G-Skill-8GB...1417992673&sr=8-2&keywords=gskill+ripjaws+8gb
Power Supply: http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/...utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=VigLink+Inc (same one as this but from amazon)
I have also ordered Windows 8.1 full version for him and also Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound, also we now have a desk and chair, rat 3 gaming mouse and mousepad, and a Razer arctosa keyboard and I'm hoping that he can use his TV for the time being to play games on
I think that's everything that we need so far? I'm hoping to try and build it for him this week so that it's ready for him to open as a present
I'm thinking that he can use the built in graphics from the processor but maybe it would be better to buy a cheap graphics card? I'm thinking we can borrow another £50 or less would be better, so that he can play some good games on his computer while saving up for a GTX 760 or maybe even a 970
Please can somebody recommend a graphics card between £30-50? thanks so much
Sorry I don't know alot about computers lol but I'm learning though
