I should probably just reload my desktop, but these glitches still confuse me...
One: I have two folders shared on my desktop. My Documents, and another. Both I enabled file sharing then checked to allowed other users to modify my documents. Other machines can access My Documents just fine, but when they go to My Music, they can see the songs, but they can't stream or download them...? However, if you copy the song from My Music to My Documents, it's fine(on the desktop, of course...) As for the other folder, people can't access it, period. I can create other new folders, but for some reason this one is inaccessible.
Two: May be related or not... But some sites like Yahoo Mail's login won't load correctly. Basically no images or tables load. At first I thought it was Firefox and/or Adblock, but IE7 does the same on my desktop.
I have the Windows firewall disabled, and have tried with ZoneAlarm open and closed. I can't think of anything else that would conflict with these that I could of installed. I did at some point have nVidia's firewall installed. I recently reloaded it and disabled it, just to be sure there weren't any settings left over. It didn't help.
It's not that big of a deal. I feel quite sure reloading windows would solve it, and it's about that time...
