2.is there a way to transfer all my data on my old internal in to my new one?

well, thats all i can think of now. thank you
You need to make sure your motherboard can support it. Because it's IDE I'd imagine that you have an IDE port, however you need to make sure that you have XP SP2 installed. Theres a chance however that it will be restricted to 127GB if your motherboard doesn't support LBA I believe.

ok so i got the internal. i tried putting it in myself but it didnt work. so i decided to put everything back the way it was. i turned on my computer and it makes 3 beeping sounds and there is nothing on the monitor! i look back to see if anything is wrong, and im pretty sure i put all the cables to my original internal.

then i notice there are two plugs that are unplugged and they say P4 and P2. now, i dont know if i accidentally unplugged those while i was working on my computer or if they are naturally unplugged.

either way, i cant seem to find where they go if they were to be plugged somewhere!
so i guess my question is, does anyone know where these, P4 and P2 get plugged in?

ive been trying to get this thing fixed for atleast 3 hours now and everytime i turn on my computer, it just makes the 3 beeping sounds and nothing is shown on the monitor.
