A funny problem

hello all,

i have a very funny problem. I have acer ferrari 4000 series. Its 3months old. Suddenly the in-built speakers stopped working. But when i user earphones it works fine without any problem. Any idea? My friend adviced me to perform system restore, but im not sure wether it wll solve the problem.

Plz plz plz help

You could have had a short in the wires to the speakers. It obviously isn't anything wrong with the sound processor on the mobo... Since it's only 3 months old, I would suggest talking to Acer, it should still be under warranty, and is definitely something that's their fault...
