im thinking about getting a new laptop and i just wanted some input on what would be best for me.

ill mostly use it for school and what not so i dont want it to be too big, probably something around 15 inches maybe bigger if the price is right.

i might use it to play games every once in a while mostly starcraft 2 but not very often.

main thing i cant decide on is if i need an i5 or i7. my girlfriend just got a new hp i5 and it seems pretty fast but she wont let me load starcraft on it to see if it can play it lol.

so i guess to sum it up i want something pretty portable, fast enough to play new games if i choose, oh and something around a college kids price range no more than 1000.

or do you guys think that a dual core would be good enough. even tho i can spend 1000 i would much rather keep it under 500. i just want the most bang for my bucks and i dont plan on buying a new laptop in a long time so i dont want to be too cheap.
