A good card for about 100 $?

Hey guys, i want to upgrade the graphics card on my PC since the card it came with isn't the best (Nvidia G315 or something), i don't want the most beast thousand dollar card out there i just need help finding a card for about 100 $ that will fit my PC.

The preformace I'm looking for is to be able to play most new games without a hassle. For example Skyrim, or BattleField 3

I've been thinking about getting the NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 or something similar, but im not sure if it will fit/work with my system. Can someone please help me or just kinda explain the basics about what i should be looking for and thinking about in my choice?

You will need a new supply for a new card.

Which means you may have to up the budget for a decent card.

Do you mean a power supply for the card? Like the power from my computer wont be enough?

yeah, you have a 300 watts psu from an oem,(unless you have upgraded it) even a gts 450 takes 400 i think.

To be able to play skyrim and especially bf3, you will need a lot more juice than your current psu.

is $100 absolute set in stone?

Nah, it can be 150 maybe 200, but how much would the extra power cost? but as long i fix the power problem everything should run fine right?
