a good motherboard ?

Hallo everybody, this is my first post, I'm new here

I'm planing to build a new intel machine, so I'm looking for a good mobo (also in the future)... so I've seen the new gigabyte GA-8I955X Pro with the latest intel 955x chip (about 200$) ... I'm wondering if I make the good choise buying this

I've heard good things about this board. Asus is a good and reliable company. I have one of their boards and it works great.

It looks like the board you selected would be fine too. Gigabyte is a great company as well. The gigabyte has better specs, but the asus has the best reviews for the type of socket you have.

Thats an incredibly open-ended question.... for starters, what are you using the system for?

For the same price, you're sacrificing DualCore capability the i955X has
