A Kaspersky Buying question?

Since Kaspersky is rather expensive i've been searching the net and there are places like buycheapsoftware.com and others but I've heard unless these sites(Download stores) are approved by Kaspersky they will disable your anti virus..anyone know if this is true..?

I think as long as you get a code to register it then it should be fine. I got my copy of Kaspersky 2010 Internet Security from Amazon.com for $30, which is much better than $80 at other places.
