A known way or program to paste text by assigning text to keys?

Hey there guys,

I need your help on this. I play an online game, and I often wish I could easily paste different strings of text to inform the other players of things such as special rules, etc., when they ask to know how to play a certain kind of gamestyle that has special rules, and so forth.

So is there a known way or program to paste text by assigning text to keys, such as Alt + 1 to paste a certain string of text, etc.?

I'd appreciate your help on this a lot. Thanks

Some games allow to paste info by using alt+insert or other combinations but all include insert, dunno if the game you play will support it thought
