A little confused about the cables

Hi. This is probably a total noob-question, but it's my first time building a PC, and I don't want to make any mistakes. Better safe than sorry. I've read the manual lots of times now, but it's confusing me more than it's helping me.

I have a StealthXStream PSU, and a gigabyte 770TA-UD3 motherboard, and it's the cables from the PSU to the motherboard that's confusing me. There's supposed to go a cable with 24 pins, and another one with 8 pins.

I actually found a picture of the ones from my PSU, so I'll upload that so you can see.

Now there's one with 20 pins and one with 4 pins strapped together, so I'm assuming those are the ones going to the one with 24 pins on the motherboard, and the two 4-pins called "CPU1" and "CPU2" are going to the one with 8 pins. The question is, which ones goes on top, and which ones goes on the bottom?

Also, the same with the two 6-pins going to the graphic card, which one goes on the right/left.

Yes the one with the 20+4pin goes to you're motherboard 24pin plug in. The 4+4pin plug goes to you're motherboards 4 or 8pin(depends on the motherboard) CPU plug. As for which one goes on which side it doesn't matter. Don't worry about putting it in the wrong way either because they wont fit if you try to put them in wrong, just don't force them.

Yep there pretty much idiot proof(no offense) they only go in one way. Most cables and components will only go in a certain way. If you're not sure which way it is then read the manual, look for markings, even go to youtube.

While I have a thread here, I might as just ask. The graphic card has two inputs with 6 pins each. Seems a bit odd that it needs two, does it really need both? It's a ATI Radeon 5850 card.

More powerful cards need more power so I would say yes its needs 2 connections. What brand is it and how much ram does it have?
