a little help please

wonder if any of u lovely people have any ideas. for some reason when i double click an icon on my desktop it takes bloody ages to respond ive done the normal full system test, spyware test cleared everything it has found but no change any ideas guys of what might be causing this. much appreciated

what were you using to scan ?
did you defragment or disk cleanup?

i scanned with avg 7.1 and yes i run

Are you running any other programs?I know if I run (insert torrent program here) my computer slows down a lot.

You dont have to run or skip . I guess by that you mean you have done a disk clean up and defraged.
