A New Use for an Old and Broken Motherboard

Interior decoration! I hung this fried motherboard on my dorm room wall. Not only does it add color and interest, it makes a great conversation piece. It also is acts as a badge of "geekiness" for all to see.

I thought about doing that. I may very well try to do that eventually. Unfortunately, I canabalized the parts to make another system, so that may take me a little while (my studies come first, naturally).

eh...not sure. I got the computer it was in from a guy who had done some swapping of parts and stuff so I'm not sure. I think the case was a compaq (it had a really cool and funny looking monkey face type thing with blue eyes where the power/HD lights were), but I'm not sure about that. Besides, I'm not sure the case was the original either. Pretty ambiguous, huh?
