A question about the + symbol

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody knows how to actually have the plus symbol included in a search using google, instead of making it include the word in the search. Like if I want to find the actual phrase +genetics lets say. Instead of finding +genetics it would only find genetics. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not looking up anything in particular. I'd just like to know haha. I was reading the google advanced search page and was wondering if you could do it.

I think it reads the + like the boolean term "and".

I'm not positive, but if you add quotes around whatever your searching, it should treat it all as text.

ex. "+genetics" rather than +genetics

That was the first thing I tried, of course. Even in quotes, google removes the "+". I tried other various things in the advanced search options to no avail.

You could try the ACSII equivalent. It's or without the ; for Firefox.
