First of all, hello.
Well this is my [short] story.
My brother wanted to get me a nice 22" 16:10 lcd monitor as a graduation present, but since he was in a rush, and since Circuit City was out of Samsungs, he had to go with a crappier Envision. Well, truth be told, the Envision isnt the best, and it has a few dead pixels which were really nagging me, so my brother, being a cool guy, sends me the receipt and says to just return it and get another monitor.
Well here I am.
And I have a question or two. I was thinking about getting one of these refurbished 27" Olivia monitors, but I was worried about the quality. Those worries were allayed some when I saw that it had a DVI and had gotten good reviews elsewhere. Next up was the resolution. Its native resolution is 1366 x 768, but I have really been spoiled by all the space that I get with the 22" in 1680x1050. Now if you can predict what im going to ask, and that question is so very uneducated that you suddenly have the urge to find the nearest heavy object and hurl it at me, I apologize. Nevertheless... Is it possible to use any other resolution on this tv besides what the native resolution requires without sacrificing alot of quality? I would really miss my space...
Well thanks for reading and thanks in advance for the help. I apologize that this may have been a boring read, but its 1:16am here and I am not in my best writing conditions.
Thanks again
