A question

Hey all

I am an Israeli travrller. I will be visiting Australia for the next 3 months (not in Australia yet but also not in Israel) and I want to buy a laptop. The problem is that I'm afraid of svevral things in buying a computer so far away from home:

1. Are there any differences that wouldnt allow me to use the laptop or aply difficulties back in Israel? I mean like differnet time zone or region like u get when u try to play a dvd somewhere abroad and its not working?

2. Does the guaranty will be respected outside of Australia? or more accurate
in Israel (taking in mind buying from one of the big companies and a small merchant)

You can always chnge the time/zone. It shouldnt be affected no matter where you go. the only thing that will is something like your network ie internet.
