Will an AMD X3 Phenom 8650 fit and work correctly in a MSI K9N NEO-F V2 Mainboard


Need it answering quite urgently

No, because your board is only an am2 board, phenoms require an am2+ motherboard.
 
Well most AM2 boards will run the lower end Phenoms, some even the upper end.

But that one doesnt have a Phenom Bios update and they are not on the supported list. So I say no too.
