A secure network

In about three months I’m going to get DSL, but I’m worried about my computers (which is a 486 running 95 & a PII with 98SE). I’m not using the 486 to get on the Internet, but I do share files (& remote access) with it via network. I’ve read some where that people who uses file sharing leave them selves more open for hacking on broadband Internet.

Will I have to buy a firewall hub in order to keep both my computers safe?

You should definettly buy a router-especially running windows 95. They're very cheap these days, and many have built in firewalls.

Then of course whenever a friend comes over, or you have another computer for whatever reason, you can both be on at the same time :).
