i read the RAM 101( i read it 3 times.. already.. ) i don't really get it and didn't find some of the information please help me guys. i read it 3 times.. already..

what is non-ecc means? is it good or bad?

what does unbuffered mean ? is it good or bad?
Input Voltage: 1.8 V is this ok?
240-pin DIMM ? what does pin dimm means? how much is good ?

what does add on mean ? does it mean anything special? because normally i don't see rams labled with add on. but this one it says add on on it

thx guys

Non-error corecting code. ECC basicly can corect errors in RAM data. For pretty much anything but servers go with non-ECC. Its not good or bad, you just probably wont need it.

A buffer stores data for an extra cycle before passing on to the memory controller, once again, dont worry about it for non-server uses. Look for non-buffered/registered RAM.

Its perfectly fine, the DDR2 standard.

240-pin DIMM ? what does pin dimm means? how much is good ?
A DIMM is a Dual In-Line Memory Module. A fancy name for a stick of modern RAM. 240-pin means the physical stick has 240 pins, or conection, in which it conects to the motherboard. More or less pins isn't necessarily good or bad, its just a certain type of RAM. SDRAM has 168 pins, RDRAM has 184, DDR SDRAM (or just DDR for short) has 184 pins also, and DDR2 RAM has 240.

All this info is already in RAM 101, so I suggest you take a closer look at it...

Sounds like your having trouble choosing a stick of RAM, do you have a link to the one you were looking at? Or give us a budget and the rest of your system specs so we can show some compatible RAM.
