A "what is this" question about my Mobo

1. I/O Ports (Input/Output Ports) Connect keyboard/mouse/printer/misc.

2. PCI-E x16 slot. That's where the video card goes.

3. PCI-E x1 slot. That's where PCI-E x1 expansion cards go.

4. PCI slot. That's where PCI expansion cards go.

5. Chipset. That's what controls info to and from the RAM and CPU blah blah blah.

6. SATA ports. Plug in your SATA HDDs here.

7. IDE port. Plug in your CD Drive here.

8. PSU motherboard power port. This is where you plug in that massive cable from your PSU.

9. Floppy Drive port. Plug in your floppy drive there.

That pretty much covers the basics...

So all the other stuff is just components that are not meant to be touched!
If only I knew about the fans now

Your CPU fan and two more are all you can hook up, there is only 3 fan connectors available :(
But you can just hook them to a 4 pin power cable from you power supply, that will run a fan just fine:)
