Abit Mobo question

Hello! My Abit NF7-S Mobo is acting a bit strange. It beeps. Its the warning beep that something is out of place. This beep happens while my system is running, but in undetermained intervals. Its also not the continous howling that would warn you of a fail in a fan, but one single *beep*. I had my Abit EQ open for the last hour, and was looking during the last beep, and nothing in the fan speed, temp or volts changed.

If anyone knows a diagnostic I can run or anything else I can do apart from taking everything apart and putting it back together (I would normaly do that, but i dont have enough time during the week), I would be really apreciative!

Are you sure its not a beep from the keyboard buffer (like when you hold down 1 too many keys)? I get sticky keys (the key isn't depressed but the computer thinks it is) sometimes and my system always gives a simgle beep when it happens

So it's when you're doing something or it's idle? 2 of mine will beep for a whlie when comming out of Suspend-to-Ram. Never quite figured out why as it's not every time, but both my current Abit's will do that...?

How long does it take before it'll do it? Could you possibly try your computer in safe mode? It's rare, but I have heard a few PC-Speaker beeps when when a soundcard is installed for basic errors. Maybe something you have running?

The refresh interval of the software is significantly less than the refresh rate of the BIOS so something like a 10% voltage drop and restoration may go unnoticed by software (which operates, at most, generally on a 1-second interval) meanwhile hardware generally operates on a 16ms interval
