what a pointless post.

anyway, i couldn't find any conclusive statement to say whether there is a pci lock on the board or not, but there was a post on the abit forums that suggest there might be one.
i have also read that this board is not really suitable for overclocking due to the limited voltage options available in the bios. also it doesn't have abit's softmenu in the bios which has become standard for overclocking on their motherboards.

Yeh, lol, it was like the last board they made before they made softmenu standard. dammit....

If you cant say anything constructive then kindly sod off, intel can outperform AMD on several tasks and vice-versa for AMD so get a life ya silly ****tard

Ok, thanks lee...

Yah, its not gfood for overclocking, i got my 2.8 prescott up to 3.5Ghx for ages it ran stable, like months and months (see my sig).... then for some reason my PCI wireless network card wont pick up a signal, i reset BIO to original and it works, overclock a tiny bit and boom signal is gone.... thats why i was enquiring about PCI locks.

And about the "limited" volage options,..... HA HA, limited, how about non existent mate, definately not an overclockers friend, infact its probably an overclockers worst enemy, im not too frinedly with it now.....

Guess i'll just have to run at 2.8 until i find out how to fix this piece of junk...

1. You've been around long enough to know better than do 1-day bumps
2. Directly asking me questions is more likely going to annoy me rather than get you an answer
3. I have that board?

I did have that board at one point ... i dont have that board now :P (although i could prolly get one on short notice) ... i ran a CelD in the box, didnt bother OCing it much except for the 1st few times i booted it up just to mess around. I've got no PCI cards i could use so i wouldnt be able to test the locks.

Ill grab the box tonight and see if i can find a soundcard or something to test the PCI locks for ya :)

I have the box, but dont have any PCI cards that are useful to test ... that and the computer is embedded into a shelf and i dont feel like dismantling the shelf
