i am a Chinese boy,i live in China.i want to buy a new cpu this summer vacation,i like PD8052.66G and CD3.06G,but i don't know what is more suitable for me.i need some detailed information about them,help me please! and my EN is poor,please don't laugh at me!thanks!

definetly the PD 2.66ghz, its dual core and isn't a budget cpu. The Celeron D line is a budget line and I would stay away from it unless you really can't muster much money.

Hey I'm chinese too .. but I was born in New Zealand so .. crappy chinese for me but good english .. .. but bad spelling lol .. anyways .. im not a big fan of pentium D's or celeron D's .. I'm sure for the same price u can get something with the core architechure .. least I know u can in NZ.. like

Intel Pentium E21x0, 1.6 or 1.8GHz, LGA775 or
Intel Core 2 Duo E4xxx, 1.8 or 2GHz, LGA775 or the
Intel Core 2 Duo E6xxx, 1.8 to like around 3ghz

I'd say go for something core arichitectured + great overclockers

well if hes lives in china .. and he can afford to leave the country for a vacation then he must be pretty well off .. cause I know my cousins in china cant afford to like leave the country ...

No stay away from the Pentium D's and Celeron's....


These are much better because of the new microarchitecture, you could go with any of these Allendale chips or step up to the Conroe chips. Pentium D 805 is not a gaming chip, it was a small office CPU before the Core architecture popped up.
