About To Make A Purchase

Hello again.

After heeding the advice of a computerforum patron, I'm leaning toward buying a Dell Inspiron 13. But, before I make the purchase, I'd like to know everyone's opinion as to whether or not the specs (listed below) are adequate. The most demanding thing I'll be using the laptop for is uploading videos and editing them with adobe premiere. Aside from that, I'll only be using the laptop for watching dvds, listening to music, internet, and typing. Here are the specs-

Inspiron 13:

Intel Pentium Dual Core T4200 (2.0GHz/800Mhz FSB/1MB cache)

Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium Edition SP1

128MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS

3GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 (2 Dimms)

160GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)

8X Slot Load CD / DVD Burner (Dual Layer DVD+/-RW Drive)

Dell Wireless 1395 802.11g Mini-Card

37Whr Lithium Ion Battery (4 cell)

p.s. I'll be using wifi to search the internet. Is the Mini-Card listed adequate, or should I upgrade to the 1505 Wireless-N Mini-card?

Thanks.

That will do exactly what you want it to do. Your internet card won't be bad but it is worth the upgrade. I know I recommended this computer but there is only one other thing I see, the battery it is only a 4 cell which means you will only get 30 min to a hour at best, if you plan on using the computer a lot when your mobile and you can't plug it in I would recommend the 6 cell battery. But if you will have it plugged in most of the time then don't worry about it.
