about to order the q9550

depends can you wait? honestly if you can wait, wait but you should be waiting till octoberish there are some pretty good gains though
 
well i currently have no computer stuck using the familys computer. Had to send my dell pos back to them thats when i decided to build. Im going to have about 1500 to spend. How beneficial will it be if i wait. i have already ordered my case and psu.

It all depends on what your going to use the computer for.... :cool:
 
for 1500 i don't think that the system you build is going to be as good as one with the 9550. Seeing as 4gb of DDR3 is as much as a top of the line video card. Plus the new mobo... so your looking at about 1000 dollars just for ram mobo and video card.... then you have to buy the cpu which will be about 1000... then the case, cooling, psu, and new monitor, cd rom, ect.... So imho its not worth it if you don't have alot of money to drop... but if you do then :eek: your rig is going to be sick... but then again if you have the money to drop you prob wouldn't be looking at the Q9550 you would be getting the quad extreme. :cool:
