I been looking around for a good tv tuner to talk to college. I have a dell e1405 with a duo core 1.66 ghz, gig a ram, and 60 gig hard drive. I saw the Hauppauge WinTV USB 2.0 TV Tuner (1020) at Circuity city. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Haup...16841/catOid/-13011/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do

They only want like $40 for it. The guy at the store told me it worked pretty good and the Ati TV Wonder USB 2.0 (100-703156) didn't always work good cause of the software that it comes with. It also cost $100. What is the good choice to buy here?

I use a FreeCom DV3 digi tv and radio usb stick and it works great for me :) I know that you can also get them at £30 as well know and its well worth the cash :D

I have the hauppauge usb2 tv tuner, got it for christmas on sale, the picture is somewhat low res when you are watching it live, but if you record it, the picture is pretty good for a cheap usb tuner. It also comes with info about a tvguide site that you can one-click set shows to be recorded, also some software if you want to record every show for a season, or any other schedule. It is pretty useful when you want to record a certain show that you are usually away from.
